The Six-bar Angel does best as the dominant species in an aquarium. The Six-Bar Angelfish should be provided with plenty of swimming space, as well as a number of suitable hiding places. It is often shy initially, but if not bullied by tankmates or in a high-traffic area it can become a bolder member of the aquarium community. This species does not tend to be as aggressive as some of its relatives.
