Canthigaster janthinoptera This diminutive puffer makes a great addition to your smaller (30 gallon or more) fish only tank. They stay small, and are not aggressive. They will, however, devastate sponges, corals, and inverts, so they make a lousy candidate for a reef tank. Feed a variety of meaty foods, including in shell shrimp, to keep their beaks worn down. Like all puffers, try to avoid exposing them to air. If they puff up with air instead of water, they often have difficulty purging the air from their system.
