The Goldflake Angel (Apolemichthys xanthopunctatus) is absolutely one of the most spectacular, and sought after, angelfish available today. They are extremely hard to find. When available, you should jump if you want it.

Displaying dazzling gold coloration, this Hawaiian native is relatively hardy and shows great personality. Its yellow body is highlighted by shining, shimmering gold spots. It has blue-purple areas near the snout and at the tail end of the body.

As an active-swimming omnivore, the The Goldflake Angel (Apolemichthys xanthopunctatus) should be fed multiple times daily. Sponge should be part of its diet. Feed angel formulas that contain natural sponges.
