Gold Rimmed Surgeon (XL 5-6")

Acanthurus glaucopareius A 100 gallon or larger aquarium is adequate to provide plenty of swimming room. It is aggressive towards other Tangs, but peaceful with other fish in the tank. It grows to about 8". The diet of the gold-rimmed surgeon, like all tangs, needs to be heavily based in vegetable matter. A steady supply of nori should be fed, along with meaty foods.
