Paracheilinus filamentosus The Filamented Flasher Wrasse is orange with magenta to blue vertical stripes with blue and yellow accents on the fins. The dorsal rays of the males are very elongated. It requires a 20 gallon or larger aquarium with a tight-fitting lid to prevent escape since it is a jumper. A grouping is acceptable and often recommended, since the females will encourage the male to perform colorful displays. The females should be introduced into the tank first, or the group together. Its diet should consist of meaty items like brine and mysis shrimp.
