The Fathead Anthias is also known as the Sunburst Anthias. They do best in a deeper reef tank with peaceful tankmates. They can be kept in groups, but all members should be added at the same time, and only 1 male to a tank. Anthias species all share the trait of being hermaphroditic. If a dominant male perishes, the largest female of the group will often morph to take its place. They should be fed a varied diet, ideally 2-3 times per day.
