One of the more popular anemones, carpet anemones can grow quite large. They require strong lighting and water movement. They have been know to eat unsuspecting fish.
 
They do best with a clown to host (ocellaris and percula, among others). Without a clown to host, supplemental feeding is required.Due to their special care requirements, they are deamed expert only, and carry a live arrival guarantee only.
