Brain Coral, Lobophyllia (Lobophyllia hemprichii)- Large Green & Purple

Brain Corals do best in a well established reef aquarium.  They are not a beginner coral.

Brain corals need strong lighting with  moderate water flow.  They require the addition of calcium, strontium, and other trace elements to the water.

They can sting their neigbors, so allow space between it and other corals.

It does not require supplemental feeding, but will sometimes take additional micro plankton from the water column.
